Castrol Variocut™ B 27 is a high-performance, chlorine- and heavy metal-free neat cutting oil formulated for demanding broaching, gear cutting, gear hobbing, gear shaping, and grinding operations on steel and cast iron.
Its advanced extreme pressure (EP) additive technology, including active sulfur chemistry, provides outstanding lubricity to reduce tool wear, extend tool life, and improve surface finish while supporting higher cutting speeds and increased machining productivity.
The low-mist formulation helps maintain a cleaner work environment, and its chlorine- and heavy metal-free composition improves the environmental profile and can help reduce disposal costs. Variocut B 27 is designed for machining ferrous metals and is not compatible with yellow metals such as brass, bronze, or copper due to its active sulfur additive system.
