Castrol Techniclean™ S 5001 is a mild alkaline, water-based industrial process cleaner formulated with biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors to provide effective cleaning performance for a wide range of manufacturing applications.
Designed for use in spray washers, flood washers, and other industrial cleaning systems, it efficiently removes soluble oils, light- to medium-duty neat cutting and forming oils, lubrication oils, soft film corrosion preventatives, swarf, and general shop contaminants. Its low-foaming formulation helps minimize equipment downtime, while its excellent in-process corrosion protection safeguards both components and cleaning equipment.
Free of nitrites, phosphates, silicates, and other inorganic salts, Techniclean S 5001 leaves only a slight, nearly invisible protective film and rejects tramp oil for easy removal, helping extend bath life and improve maintenance efficiency. It is suitable for ferrous metals and many non-ferrous substrates, although compatibility should be verified before use on sensitive materials.
