Castrol Iloform™ PS 700 is a high-performance, water-soluble wax emulsion forming lubricant designed for light- to medium-duty metal forming operations.
It provides excellent lubricity for forming ferrous metals, aluminum alloys, and galvanized materials, allowing multiple drawing operations while helping reduce tool wear and improve finished surface quality. The formula offers in-process corrosion protection and leaves minimal oily residue, helping keep equipment and work areas cleaner. Free of nitrites, heavy metals, chlorine, phenols, and phosphates, Iloform PS 700 is an environmentally conscious choice for many manufacturing applications.
It can be applied by spray, dip, roll coater, or sponge brush and is suitable for use at concentrations ranging from 20% for lighter-duty operations to full strength for applications requiring maximum lubricity. It is not recommended for use on yellow metals such as brass, bronze, or copper alloys.
