Castrol LubeCon® Series SYN HT 200 is a synthetic, premium quality chain oil formulated for the most demanding high temperature chain applications. It contains a unique combination of extremely low volatility and low residue forming additives which allow for reduced lubricant consumption and improved housekeeping. LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 is manufactured from a blend of esters specifically selected for extreme, high temperature environments.
Application:
LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 is designed for use in fiberglass plants, foundries, steel mills, automotive plants, paper mills, rubber plants, textile mills, can plants, plywood and veneering plants, and glass plants. Applications include roller chains, slides, cams and general lubrication where a high temperature synthetic lubricant is needed. LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 has performed without issue in applications where temperatures exceed 580°F. Product application may be achieved by drip, spray, splash and automatic dispensing equipment. Application via LubeCon automatic lubrication system is recommended in order to benefit the most from the use of LubeCon Series SYN HT 200.

User Advice:
LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 is compatible with petroleum and most synthetic based lubricants. It is recommended to clean the chain thoroughly before changeover to LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 to realize maximum benefits. If this is not feasible, run chain through several cycles under no-load conditions when first applying.
LubeCon Series SYN HT 200 should not be used around parts containing polycarbonates as it can have a softening effect. Under no circumstances should it be used where neoprene seals are used.
