Castrol Rustilo DW 90 HF (previously called Safe Coat DW 90) is a no odor, oil-dispersed, water-displacing, fingerprint suppression corrosion preventive specifically formulated to be compatible with synthetic tube mill products.
This product deposits a thin, slight oily residual film.
Application
Rustilo DW 90 HF is designed for conditions in which a no odor environment is desired. It's ideally suited for applications where parts are previously exposed to water containing machining and grinding coolants, cleaners, and water rinses.
Rustilo DW 90 HF provides an excellent solution to environmental conditions where low VOC levels are required. The thin residual film provides effective long term indoor humidity protection.
Rustilo DW 90 HF contains specialty additives formulated to allow for manual handling and moving of parts.
Although Rustilo DW 90 HF can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

If required protective films of Rustilo DW 90 HF can easily be removed by using a petroleum solvent or alkaline process cleaner, all available from Castrol.
