Bio-SynXtra™ ATF LV6 is an automatic transmission fluid that incorporates patented Stabilized additive technology with Super High VI biodegradable, biobased oils and High VI synthetic base oils. This formulation contains a special universal ATF additive system for automatic transmissions and hydraulic systems where a multi-grade lower viscosity ATF is recommended. It provides improved shear stability to meet the requirements of GM Dexron-VI, Ford Mercon SP, and Ford Mercon LV and anti-shudder, anti-wear, durability, and high torque capacity performance for Multi-Vehicle ATF in automatic transmissions requiring a Low Viscosity, 5.5 – 6.5 cSt, fluid.
Bio-SynXtra™ ATF LV6 is a high performance, multifunctional transmission fluid for today’s passenger cars, trucks, construction and mining equipment, farm machinery, and other mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. Incorporating the super high viscosity index HOBS into the formulation provides an improved fluid film over conventional ATF formulas and reduces wear in higher temperatures. In addition, the product is suitable for use in air compressors and other types of services where a Low Viscosity ATF (ISO 32) is recommended. This technology is recommended to meet the requirements of Voith, ZF, Caterpillar TO-2, Sperry Vickers, Denison, and Sundstrand hydraulic pump systems where it meets the OEM viscosity requirements. It is recommended for Ford and General Motors cars, vans, and light duty trucks and also imported cars that require GM Dexron, and Ford Mercon fluids. Excellent for use as a Low Viscosity Multi-Vehicle ATF in North American, European, and Asian OEM automatic transmissions including: ZF 6 speed transmissions. For transmissions requiring a heavier viscosity Multi-Vehicle ATF, use Bio-SynXtra ATF Plus. (Not recommended for CVT, DCT, or Ford Type F applications)
