CITGO SlideRite Oils are specially formulated non-corrosive additives that offer the qualities required to protect against the occurrence of stick-slip and are intended for use on machine tool slideways. As a result, chatter and scoring in the use of machine tool ways are effectively eliminated. They also impart good metal-wetting, adhesiveness, and EP characteristics. In machining centers, some slideway lubricants have a propensity to emulsify with coolants, making it challenging to maintain pure and efficient coolants. These oils, however, are specifically made to reduce this issue. These oils are therefore especially advised for use in applications involving synthetic coolants or soluble oil emulsions.
