DESCRIPTION:
PURUS® Drive Train TO-4 Oils are formulated to meet the stringent performance requirements of the Caterpillar TO-4 specification. These fluids are recommended for equipment where specified TO-4 qualified oils are required to maintain the Caterpillar equipment warranty. PURUS® Drive Train TO-4 Oils are blended to provide excellent gear wear protection and thermal stability while maintaining a balance of static and dynamic frictional characteristics with a variety of materials. This provides smooth transmission power transfer under high horsepower conditions. Advanced additive chemistry provides substantially improved load carrying capacities and durability and reduces brake chatter.
APPLICATION:
PURUS® Drive Train TO-4 Oils are recommended for the lubrication of heavy-duty equipment in both highway and off-highway service that require a lubricant meeting Caterpillar TO-4 & TO-4M, Allison C-4, Allison C-2, Komatsu KES 07.868.1, Komatsu Micro-Clutch, Parker (formerly Denison) HF-1 to HF-2, Eaton Vickers (formerly Vickers) I-286S & M2950S, Tremac/TCC for TO-4 only, Dana Powershift for TO-4 only, Eaton Full for TO-4 only, Euclid for TO-4 only, API GL-4 and wet brake applications.
PURUS® Drive Train TO-4 Oils provide excellent service in all Caterpillar powershift transmissions, final drives, hydrostatic transmissions, torque converters, hydraulics or any system which specify TO-4 qualified oils. The SAE 10-W and SAE 30-W grades can be used in all applications requiring Allison C-4 qualified oils.
