Nature's Choice Re-Refined GL-5 80W90 Limited Slip Gear Oil
Nature’s Choice® Multi‐Purpose Gear Oils are used for the lubrication of gears operating under severe conditions, including automotive applications. High quality HVI base stocks blended with a sulfur‐phosphorous extreme pressure additive package provide superior performance including anti‐weld, anti‐scuff, and anti‐wear properties. Nature’s Choice® Multi‐Purpose Gear Oils are available in API GL‐4 and GL‐5 performance levels. The GL‐4 level is designed for spiral‐bevel and hypoid gears under moderate speeds and loads. This level is recommended for some manual transmissions and transaxles. Nature’s Choice® GL‐5 Multi‐Purpose Gear Oils have multi‐grade characteristics and are recommended for hypoid gears in moderate and severe service, including shock‐loading, and some manual transmissions. GL‐5 Gear Oils also meet or exceed the MIL‐L‐2105D specification, API MT‐1 for truck manual transmissions, Meritor O76‐D/A, MAN 342 Type M1/M2, Mack GO‐J, and SAE J2360. The Nature’s Choice® product line was developed in response to President Clinton’s Executive Order 13101 which mandated the use of motor oils with re‐refined content for government use. Since that time, the Nature’s Choice® product line has grown from motor oils to include many other types of lubrication. Blending virgin and re‐refined base stocks with quality additive chemistry, Nature’s Choice® brand products are able to meet the top performance grades required for today’s lubrication requirements, while being more environmentally friendly. Nature’s Choice® GL‐4, GL‐5 Multi‐Purpose Gear Oils are not intended for use in automotive gear boxes that require a limited slip gear oil. Always follow manufacturers’ recommendations for correct type and viscosity grade of gear lubricant.
