Product Description
MOLYKOTE® U Paste is a high-performance, synthetic, PAG (polyalkylene glycol) based anti-seize paste solution with solid molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for highly loaded equipment. It exhibits excellent thermal stability and is compatible with most natural and synthetic rubbers, although compatibility testing is recommended prior to use. MOLYKOTE® U Paste helps reduce surface wear and seizure and helps extend equipment’s operational life compared to conventional lubricant solutions.
When the PAG completely volatilizes at high temperatures, a molybdenum disulfide solid lubricant film is formed, providing emergency lubrication when needed. MOLYKOTE® U Paste can be easily applied by burnishing, rubbing with cloth or deerskin, or using a thin, stiff brush. This paste should also be stirred well prior to use in case the oil and solids have separated during storage.
