MOLYKOTE® M Gear Oil Additive is a premium, multipurpose product that enhances the extreme-pressure (EP) capacity for a range of petroleum-based oils and lubricants. MOLYKOTE® M Gear Oil Additive is engineered from a high-purity mineral oil base and includes solid molybdenum (MoS2) lubricants dispersed that exhibit excellent surface protection in heavy-load conditions.
MOLYKOTE® M Gear Oil Additive can be dispersed in most petroleum-based oils with little to no mixing. The blend of phosphorous, sulfur, and chlorine EP agents can result in significant improvements to the load-carrying capacity of the oil compared to oils that contain lead naphthenate. Additionally, the solid lubricant additives found in this gear oil additive have an average particle size of 0.5 microns, allowing the particles to pass through most conventional oil filters. MOLYKOTE® M Gear Oil Additive is designed for use with oils in spray, mist, or wick-type lubrication systems, as well as in oil reservoirs.
