Product Description
MOLYKOTE® G-5511 is a performance compound formulated from high-quality silicone oil and thickened with solid polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lubricant additives for exceptional protection and longevity. It exhibits excellent compatibility with most ceramic, plastics, and elastomers commonly used for sealing taps and valves. It is also suitable for gas applications.
MOLYKOTE® G-5511 meets the performance requirements of several regulatory standards for drinking water contact, including UBA guidelines, NSF/ANSI 61, and ACS and Water Regulation Advisory Scheme (BS6920:2000). Additionally, for applications with water, MOLYKOTE® G-5511 compound can be used for hot (85°C) and cold water.
