Product Description
Description
LubeCon Series 735 is a synthetic lubricant specifically formulated for use in machinery and on conveyors used in cathodic electro deposition (e-coat) processes, painting, and high temperature drying and curing.
LubeCon Series 735 is formulated to deliver the following benefits:
- Compatibility with most water-based paints and coatings including water-based cathodic dip coatings—to prevent cratering and surface disruption.
- Low volatility—to retain fluid-film in applications subjected to high temperatures.
- Anti-wear and extreme pressure (EP) characteristics—to protect contacting surfaces.
- Precision control through use of LubeCon lubrication systems.
LubeCon Series 735 is formulated using water-miscible synthetic fluids characterized by exceptional inherent lubricity. Additionally, these synthetic fluids feature controlled volatility, chemical and thermal stability, and very high viscosity index.
An advanced additive system provides additional anti-wear and extreme pressure characteristics under boundary conditions. The naturally high oxidation resistance of the synthetic base is further enhanced by inhibitors.
Application
Use LubeCon Series 735 to lubricate machinery where compatibility with water-based paints and coatings is critical. LubeCon Series 735 is most suitable for automotive production lines that include cathodic electrodeposition, water-based painting (coating), followed by oven-drying and curing. Typically these operations include immersion of parts into baths with overhead conveyors.
Contamination from dripping lubricant is always a threat to production and process baths. Should LubeCon Series 735 ever drip into a water base process bath, it will dissolve and disperse preventing accumulation and the disruption of coatings or electro depositions.
Advantages
Compatibility with the Electro coat process and most water-based paints eliminates lubricant-related “fish eyes” and craters, reducing rework and refinishing costs.
