GEARMASTER MS 460 is a uniquely formulated lubricant with colloidal molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for extreme pressure antiwear protection; tough co-polymer additives to increase cling and adhesion to metal surfaces; excellent heat and oxidation resistance for long service life. GEARMASTER MS 460 also provides superior rust and corrosion protection for equipment operating in high humidity, wet conditions, or salt water applications

Field of application
GEARMASTER MS 460 is suitable for all types of industrial gearing, including worm gearboxes. Also recommended for chain drives and slides. GEARMASTER MS 460 is higher viscosity choice for maximum retention, stop-and-go operations, higher ambient temperatures or to minimize leakage. These higher viscosity grade is especially suited for worm gears.
Method of application
GEARMASTER MS 460 is to be used as received for splash lubrication of enclosed gearboxes.
