SHS-900 is a sodium hypochlorite product, which is highly effective for the control of bacteria. It has many applications as a sanitizer: in commercial
laundry, in various water systems, and in many food plant processes.
KEY PROPERTIES
• When used as directed, does not require potable
water rinse in food equipment cleaning
applications
• Effective against numerous types of
microorganisms
• Effective at high dilutions
• Very fast-acting
• Does not contain Sara Section 313 reportables
• Does not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs)
Authorizations/Approvals
SHS-900 is registered with the US EPA as a sanitizer
under EPA #3635-20003.
SHS-900 qualifies for USDA D2 and Q4 rating
equivalents.
FDA - manufactured entirely of materials which are
referenced in CFR Title 21 paragraph 176.300.
Material Compatibility
Suitable materials of construction for tanks, pumps, and piping include: Polypropylene, polyethylene, titanium, PVC. Gaskets materials include: Teflon,
Viton, PVC, or polypropylene.
Use Instructions
SHS-900 can be used in food processing areas to sanitize NONPOROUS FOOD CONTACT SURFACES, POROUS FOOD CONTACT SURFACES, CLEAN INPLACE equipment, CLEAN OUT OF PLACE PARTS
and EGGS.
It can also be used to disinfect NONPOROUS NONFOOD CONTACT SURFACES.
